Obedience 1.0 is designed to build a solid training foundation for dogs 12 weeks of age and up. This five week class focuses on the following:

  • Sit, down, stay, come, place, and more
  • Strong focus on loose leash walking, also known as heel
  • Manners at doorways, and food bowls
  • Developing solid attention, even with small distractions
  • Problematic behaviors such as jumping, and barking (initially discussed in DOG 101)

Many dogs have already been taught a few of the above commands prior to the start of this class. If this is the case for you, our focus will be on helping you teach the dog to perform them even with a variety of distractions in the classroom!

Our small class option is a must for many of our clients. These small group settings provide many opportunities that you may not experience in a larger class. This class option is great for those who agree or want the following:

  • Those who prefer a more personal touch while learning
  • Those who prefer to avoid large groups
  • Those wanting to be challenged a bit more.
  • Those wanting the opportunity to accelerate the speed of the initial training process.

With two instructors and almost half the dogs, our small class option can help with all the above and more. We know these cost a bit more, but we are positive you will love the experience!

All small classes are five weeks long, (45 minutes a week a week) and cost $250. Please see the link below for all class info and requirements.

 Obedience 2.0

The Obedience 2.0 curriculum is an extension of the Obedience 1.0 class.  In this class we will grow on commands taught in Obedience 1.0, and add a few more. This class is designed to start improving your dogs behavior in public settings, and improve your skills as a handler. We will cover the following:

  • Work on behavior fluency. Ensuring behavior is given quickly, and with distractions.
  • Grow on stays: Focus on creating distance, increasing duration, and adding distraction
  • Heel / Loose leash walk: Longer heel, and adding distractions
  • Obedience 1.0 is a prerequisite to this class

All regular classes are five weeks long,(45 minutes a week) and cost $165. Please see below link for all class info and requirements.
